UP-4007 Leather Softness Tester
The Leather Softness Tester is a professional physical testing instrument designed to quantitatively detect the surface softness of natural leather, synthetic leather, coated fabrics, and flexible polymeric materials. It adopts non-destructive detection mode to avoid sample damage, making it widely applicable for raw material incoming inspection, production quality control, and finished goods verification in footwear, luggage, furniture, and automotive leather industries.

Working Principle
The trimmed leather sample is fixed on the instrument test bench with a standard aperture fixture. A standard constant load is applied vertically to the sample surface via a precision probe. The equipment measures the indentation deflection of the leather under fixed pressure, converts the deformation data into intuitive softness values, and provides objective digital evaluation of leather hand feel, replacing subjective manual touching judgment.
