The RCA abrasion tester utilizes specialized test paper tape as a friction medium with fixed loads to evaluate wear resistance. The friction head, driven by fixed-diameter rollers and a constant speed motor, continuously applies force to the sample surface until the substrate becomes visible or specific wear levels are reached. A digital counter displays motor rotation cycles to assess sample durability.
Conforms to ASTM F 2357-04 standard for wear resistance testing. Suitable for evaluating plastic components, MP3 players, CD/DVD players, laptops, PDAs, electrical enclosures, and various electronic housings.
