The UP-2000-A is a single-column, touch-screen peel adhesion tester built for adhesive tape, surface protection film and laminated composite film. It performs 180° and 90° peel tests as well as tensile and elongation tests, using anti-adhesive coated low-pressure grips that prevent adhesive residue, backing tearing and unstable peel curves.
Adhesive materials cause three recurring problems on a conventional tensile machine: adhesive residue left on the jaws, tearing of the backing or substrate, and unstable peel curves from inconsistent clamping. The UP-2000-A is built to remove all three. Its anti-adhesive-coated, low-pressure side-action grips hold thin adhesive samples firmly without crushing the backing, squeezing out adhesive or leaving residue on the jaw faces.
Tests are performed to ASTM D3330, ASTM D3759, ISO 29862 and GB/T 2792. After entering the sample width and thickness, the operator starts the test from the touch screen; the system records the peel curve, calculates peel strength, maximum force, average force and elongation automatically, and prints the test report.
This machine is widely used by tape converters, protective film manufacturers and flexible packaging factories to measure peel adhesion, tensile strength and elongation of single-sided tape, double-sided tape, PE/PET protective film and multi-layer laminated film.

It is developed for pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, double-sided tape, PE/PET protective film and multi-layer laminated composite film. It can run both peel adhesion tests and substrate tensile & elongation tests for adhesive flexible materials.
The UP-2000-A is equipped with anti-adhesive coated low-pressure clamps. They reduce glue residue sticking on jaw surfaces and protect thin tape backing from tearing during stretching or peeling. We also recommend using standard test panels following ASTM D3330 for peel tests.
Yes. The touch screen software supports switching between 90° and 180° peel test modes. This is the most common test requirement for protective film and adhesive tape manufacturers for incoming QC and new product development.
Adhesive materials often show unstable peeling force. The high-precision sensor of the UP-2000-A can record small force variations, helping you evaluate peel consistency across different batches of tape or protective film.
The machine is compliant with ASTM D3330 (peel adhesion), ASTM D3759 (tape breaking strength), ISO 29862, ISO 29864 and GB/T 2792. These standards are widely adopted by tape and protective film factories and third-party labs.
Yes. The UP-2000-P, UP-2000-M, UP-2000-F and UP-2000-A adopt the same single-column main unit. You can switch test applications by changing the matched grips and selecting the corresponding preset test program in the touch screen system.
Each machine comes with one set of standard grips only. Additional grips are optional spare parts for separate purchase.
Grip replacement will not change the load capacity of the tester. Frequent disassembly of grips may affect specimen alignment and data repeatability.
