Product Overview

The UP-5008 No Rotor Moving Die Rheometer is a core equipment used in the rubber industry to measure the vulcanization characteristics of rubber materials. It accurately measures key parameters such as burning time, vulcanization time, vulcanization rate, and torque changes, providing essential data for formula development and quality control.

Working Principle

The rubber sample is placed in a nearly completely closed cavity maintained at test temperature. The lower part of the cavity reciprocates with slight linear motion (oscillation), shearing the sample. The reaction torque of the sample to the cavity is measured, with the torque magnitude depending on the rubber's shear modulus.

After vulcanization testing begins, the sample's shear modulus increases, and the computer displays and records torque in real time. When torque rises to a stable value, maximum value, or returns to initial state, a torque-time relationship (vulcanization curve) is obtained. The curve shape relates to test temperature and compound characteristics.
